One of the traditional "Bordeaux varietals", our 2012 Malbec makes a dark, rich, fruity red wine with a hint of spice and chocolate. It's got all the best features of Cabernet Sauvignon--heft, balance, and longevity--and of Zinfandel--sweet spice and soft fruit--all rolled into one. This wine has spent over two years in French Oak lending to this extremely smooth finish. This wine pairs well with grilled or barbecued meats, or a hearty vegetarian dish like mushroom risotto. Goes great with Cheddar or Gorgonzola cheese
